Great Fosters Wedding – Jon and Charlotte.

What a truly outstanding day. Great Fosters is a simply stunning venue and perfect for a wedding, not to mention a great cinematic movie. Add to that the Jon and Charlotte, who just radiated happiness from start to finish. They were such a beautiful couple, I just couldn’t wait to tell their story.

It just added to the day that I was able to capture aerial footage and pictures of the location. Especially as the Bride and Bridesmaids stood framed in the window of this lovely building waving at the drone as it flew over.

Charlotte was a joy to film with a massive smile on her face as she sipped champagne and got ready for the big day. By the time Charlotte’s dad came into the room to see his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time, tears were flowing. She looked amazing!! It was a beautiful moment recorded in stills and film forever. Meanwhile, the lads were downstairs trying to decide who had the best guess at a Windsor knot before donning their wedding suits and they were ready to head off to the church.

The beautiful Windlesham Church was an absolute picture on this typical English summers day in the village of Windlesham. The groom and groomsmen were in place waiting for the Bride to be to make her entrance. Charlotte turned up in a stylish and very befitting old Rolls Royce and it was clear that the smile had not left her face. Slightly nervous but as happy, as bride should be, Charlotte looked ready to walk down the aisle. It really was a great ceremony – lighthearted, friendly and sincere.

Then back at Great Fosters, now baked in late afternoon sunshine, while the guests had some relaxed drinks, it was a great opportunity to capture more footage of the happy couple. The grounds of Great Fosters are just glorious with the hedgerow-clad maze and rose covered amphitheater. Capturing images from the air it looked as cinematic as a Hollywood blockbuster. The venue staff were helpful and were a joy to work with and it seemed they could not do enough for the couple or their guests. After some of the best speeches I have seen at a wedding the dancing started with their first dance.

The whole day was wonderful and it was an honour to be there capturing pictures of Jon & Charlotte on this most important of days. I really wish them all the very best it was a wedding day I will remember for a long time.
