The Beautiful Surrey Wedding.

What a wonderful day, this Surrey Wedding was by far one of my most relaxed weddings of the year. It started with Stephanie getting ready at home with her mother and bridesmaids. There was lots of fun and giggles as the girls were helping Stephanie prepare for the big day…. Amazing how much fun they had with the under-skirt … really girls.

Both Stephanie and James were incredibly calm … except James maybe when I got to St Columba’s R C Church (there were some signs of nerves hay James). They chose Surrey National Golf Club as their reception venue and it was amazing. The club sat on the edge of a valley that produced some stunning views making it truly stand out as a venue.  A perfect place to hold your Surrey Wedding.

The beautiful decorations were made by Patricia, the mother of the bride and they really added to the personal friendly feel of the day. I had a lot of fun with the guests who were determined to have a great time at this wedding and we captured them arriving in the double decker bus shooting video of it with Trevor the drone. We also used Trevor to capture the couple arriving in the very classy wedding car which gave a real cinematic look.

The speeches were lovely, very emotional and amazingly well delivered. Some of the best moments of the day for me are during the speeches and there were plenty of them here.

My team and I captured the day both with video and photos and it was when we headed off in the golf buggy that things got really interesting. James …not sure you will make the world gold buggy racing team mate…. mind you, you did better than Paul (videographer), we couldn’t stop laughing when he hit that drain hay……

It always makes me smile when the couple and the guests let loose on the dance floor and they certainly did at this wedding. I have to say the limbo dancing was totally worth the wait…. though there were a few people who thought they were more flexible than was actually the case …… say no more.

Stephanie and James’ bond with their friends and family was clearly something special and it made for a stunning day to capture. Thank you so much guys for letting me photograph and film your special day. More to follow soon……including the films from this Surrey Wedding.
